All trial services are in-studio only and take place at the Germantown, MD studio. Trial services are not included in the wedding day minimum.
Trial appointments are available starting at 9:00 AM. Appointments scheduled before 9:00 AM are subject to an early morning fee.
A. While a trial isn’t mandatory, I always strongly recommend it. Most of my clients agree that it’s essential—unless you’re opting for a simple look you’re confident in.
On your wedding day, time is limited, making it challenging to make major adjustments. Different products may react differently on your skin, and not all colors will suit you.
A trial allows us to find the most flattering look that enhances your features. It’s also a chance to build rapport with your artist and discuss any challenges upfront. If adjustments are needed, it’s better to address them during the trial than on a rushed wedding morning. If you’re unsure of your desired style, a trial is the perfect opportunity to explore options and set a baseline for the big day.
A. It’s best to schedule your trial at least a few weeks before your wedding day. This allows time for any adjustments or follow-up appointments if needed.
A. To schedule a trial for wedding makeup, simply go to the inquiry page, select the services you want, and check the availability to book your appointment.
A. Once the date and time are confirmed, we will send you a contract. You can return the signed contract along with the non-refundable deposit to finalize your booking, which will be applied toward your total balance. The deposit amount will be specified in the contract for your reference.
A. Typically, a trial makeup run lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours, giving us ample time to discuss your vision and apply the makeup.
A. Absolutely! Bringing inspiration photos can help communicate your desired look and ensure we’re on the same page.
A. While we aim for consistency, slight adjustments may be made on your wedding day based on factors like lighting, weather conditions, and your overall look. In my experience, many clients have found that they are even more satisfied on their wedding day, as we work to enhance their natural beauty further, ensuring they look and feel more beautiful than ever.
A. No, the trial makeup fee is a separate service and is not included in the wedding package. This individual service is designed to ensure that the artist can dedicate the necessary time and effort to create your ideal look.
A. Yes, we encourage feedback, and any necessary adjustments can be made for your wedding day to ensure you feel completely satisfied.
A: The booking process is the same as for the trial session. Once you’re satisfied with the results, we can finalize the details, including pricing and contract agreements. A deposit will be required to officially secure your wedding date.
The trial service cannot be replaced or substituted with the engagement photoshoot day service. Each is a separate and distinct offering with its own purpose:
•The trial is specifically designed to test and finalize your bridal look, ensuring it matches your dress, theme, and preferences for the wedding day.
•The engagement photoshoot makeup focuses more on photography-friendly, natural or romantic looks suitable for portraits, not necessarily the full bridal style.
This policy helps maintain fairness and the integrity of each service since the time, products, and planning involved are different.
That said, if you’d like, you can book both services to explore different styles, or we can design your engagement look with some elements in mind from the wedding look—just let me know your preferences!
